It’s Mental Health Awareness Month so many people including myself struggle with Mental Health Which can cause one to go into depression and isolation. Life can be very overwhelming sometimes, trying to keep a roof over your head, while doing the best you can to stay healthy and also staying away from toxic people and things is very overwhelming. If you are doing your best daily to become a better version of yourself that’s what matters the most.
Affirmations have gotten me through some of my toughest times. Below I have shared some mental health affirmations, although I don’t know what you’re going through and how you feel at the moment, I just want you to know that life will get better. You are here for a reason even when you don’t think you are, and you are important and special. If no one tells you this, I think you are amazing! Keep striving to be your best self-life will get better.
The past is the past, and my past doesn’t predict my future.
I forgive myself for mistakes I made and I refuse to hold them against myself.
I am allowed to take up space, to have desires, and to have a voice.
I don’t have to give up my hopes and dreams.
All this hard work I am putting into achieving my goals will pay off.
I am capable of making healthy choices.
I know my worth.
I deserve to be loved and to love others.
Growth is sometimes bumpy and isn’t always linear, but I will stay the course.
I’m loved. I’m important. I’m unique.
I can overcome anything with patience and practice.
I can handle change.
I am divinely guided and protected at all times.
